Laval Fortin ltée has been working successfully on various construction projects for more than 50 years. With greater challenges and experience, came our company's strength.

Mr. Laval Fortin started as a residential and commercial construction contractor in 1957. Together with a strong team and having earned a reputation for reliability, the firm undertook bigger contracts for industrial (aluminum, pulp and paper) and institutionnal clients.

At the end of the 70s,  the James Bay hydroelectrical projects and the construction of high voltage stations offered our team the opportunity to bring forth its expertise. The experience gained would be used on numerous industrial, institutionnal and infrastructure works projects throughout Quebec and  the Canadian North. The very first northern project took place in 1982. Over the years, the company built a robust reputation on these remote territories and is considered as one of its biggest actors. The quality of the works and the reputation of reliability that the company showed will lead naturally to the birth of partnerships and the foundation of the sister companies: Almiq Contracting Ltd in 2004, Laval Fortin Adams in 2006, Apitsiu Construction ltée in 2007, Construction Misnak ltée in 2008 and Bid Land Construction Ltd. in 2009.

Laval Fortin ltée achievements were due to its well-trained team of professionals, technicians, labourers, office staff and administrators totally dedicated to reach set goals.
