Since its founding in 1957, LFL Group has always been dedicated to being involved in its community. As a result, several foundations and organizations, young athletes, students, professional and non-professional artists have benefited from the company’s generosity.
In addition to supporting the regional community, LFL Group is equally involved with Inuit communities. Sponsoring hockey equipment for local hockey teams is one of the actions often taken in the villages of Pangnirtung and Kuujjuaq. We also offer bicycles to children who do not own any to give them the opportunity to have fun and be active. Donations are also made to women who are going through difficult times.
When projects are finished and camps are closed, we make sure to give perishable and non-perishable food items to local organizations who then redistribute them to people who need it most. This way, we contribute to the community’s well-being.
Open house events are organized to donate materials that have not been used, allowing many people to renovate or build cheaply, which is also good for the community.
